The Asian American Resource Workshop has used arts & culture to build community and tell our own stories as Asian Americans over its almost 40 year history. AARW supports emerging filmmakers, writers, and artists, and connects this work with organizing and activism in the APA community of greater Boston.
AARW’s current arts & culture programming spans from filmmaking to writing to performance art, as well as one-off public art projects. AARW believes that uplifting narratives that depict the diversity of the APA experience is critical to creating a pan-Asian framework and community. AARW supports art that is by and for the APA community, while encouraging the broader community to support and engage with the work.
